[ The Things We Carve ] 1/8

I was finding recent comic book pages for a professor, and I remember really enjoying this page I did for ENLIGHTEN ME. It really captures the things I love to draw the most in comics. These are also probably my tightest pencils for the book.

Construction

Fun to see all my mock pages together... Still feeling out different ways for me to tell my comics.

I couldn’t take pictures of the permanent exhibit for the Yokote Museum, but it felt extremely special to see Tezuka, Go Nagai, Taiyo Matsumoto, Tetsuo Hara, Leiji Matsumoto, Akiko Higashimura (and many others I can’t even begin to name) ALL in one place.
