It may not seem big but the gap between Esper Mami's initial manga release and its TV adaptation are 10 years apart. When Mami manga came out First Gundam didn't even exist yet. By the time the TV show started airing Gundam ZZ had ended and TV Dragon Ball was already a year in.

Seems the "Ninja Senpu" I grabbed is indeed the one with the redraws. I guess I should look out for such things.
