most of the boxers quickly lose their fight (with the exception of mao mao) so sadly there isn't a lot more boxing content to go with, also Ebisu doesn't participate in the tournament adding to my frustration

then in chapter 40, the author does a odd decision, the manga isn't really about weird sex gags anymore but it's now a battle tournament between 32 martial arts girls, some of which happens to be boxer and MMA girls

it doesn't end well for Ebisu as she gets knocked out immediately with just one punch, then laila provokes misora but the two get stopped by Ebisu before things can heat up

The Fight Starts And....

the cover of volume 9 features misora in a tiny bikini and boxing gloves, yowza! then in chapter 22 Misora interviews this adorable boxing girl with a southern accent named Ebisu, she returns in chapter 26 to fight an american woman named Laila

at this point the manga is finally close to ending, Satoshi has another fight and win this time (because love made him stronger), their relationship becomes public but nobody cares anymore as they both have proven that their relationship doesn't get in the way of their career

it doesn't end well for Saotome Teacher, dang that is a nice uppercut pic

then the gang participates in another tournament around chapter 90, Saotome beats up a bunch of random girls, while Saotome Teacher fights the policewoman again

Chapter 73 introduce this tough policewoman boxer who absolutely obliterate Saotome, cue the "it's not about winning! it's about not giving up!"

Plot Development!

around chapter 60, Saotome and Satoshi have a sparring match together, which ends after Satoshi realize Saotome was his childhood friend after he gets hit by a straight Despite Satoshi being weaker, he puts up a good fight because "he's in love and know her every move"

...but she ends up kicking her ass by trading heavily, and also because she's in love
