この当時、東京都ではエロ雑誌規制が強化され、エロ漫画誌が作りにくい状況でした。そこで、エロ漫画誌を出していた出版社はこぞってパチンコやパチスロのマンガ誌にシフトしていくのです。これも、パチ＆スロマンガ誌バブルが起きた理由の一つです。
