Honestly, it hurts. I remember when I talked about my anxiety and turmoil to my parents, it was exactly the answer they gave. They didn't mean bad because they didn't know better, but it still cut me right to the heart.
And it's still growing big inside me.
Curaga read, because this manga heals my soul with its beautiful imagery.

Overclocking doesn't need to be always useful in daily tasks. It's similar that an F1 race car isn't needed in daily transportation. It basically tests your computer power, and in this topic, it's about speed and durability and how you can manage your CPU's performances.
With the common theme of competition and/or sports, you usually expect something exaggerated from a shounen manga. In that aspect, this manga is quite down to earth. You won't see dragon aura soaring to the sky from the computer. But you can see an excessive computer fan blowing.
The only "shonen"-esque aspect from this manga is how the protagonist checks the progression of his overclocking by relying on his keen sense of hearing, because he's a musician.
Another subplots in this manga are also not that common in shounen genre. Family matchmaking, doing side-job because overclocking doesn't pay you enough, also quitting OverClocking because OverClock isn't actually your forte, etc.
That's pretty much realistic take on life.
