Vl.7 Ch.59 (Shin Lupin III) - "Postcards From Nowhere"
A party of Five, including Lupin and Zenigata, alone on a raft in the middle of the ocean.
Everyone has a bomb at their feet, here's a new mystery.
I ussualy hear that desert places are kind of a boring setting but I personally really like it.
A character in a complete emptyness scenario trying to scape is part of one of the best examples of visual storytelling, even more if you have little dialogue.
I love these plots on Lupin.
Simply Zenigata on his way to madness trying to understand the whole situation.
«His relationship with Lupin is reminiscent of my all-time favorite cartoon "Tom & Jerry". From the very beginning I had the idea of having Zenigata in it when I was setting up the story. I wanted to push the point of mutual recognition of each other's abilities to the fullest.»
«Zenigata's character is similar to Goemon's. He is strong in martial arts and really cool. I wanted to bring out more of that in the story, but like Tom in "Tom and Jerry," I ended up playing a dopey character who is always getting beat up by Lupin.» [3/7]
As a continuation of this (kinda).
In the volume cover for Chapter 97 - "Island of Thieves (Part 2)", Lupin's speech bubble says: “Dear reader... Please feel free to cut out this dotted line section.”
And by doin that you can see... certainly something.
