The funniest thing about "Rooster Fighter" is that it's played semi-straight for comedic value. The stereotypical "wandering fighter with tragic past" clichés are on full display here...except the protagonist happens to be a chicken, so it's somehow hilarious. 🤣

I mean, even body horror mangaka Junji Ito is capable of parodying himself by writing cute comics about cats in his usual grotesque art style. 😅
