As an addendum, this reminds me of a manga/anime series called "Yamada's First Time" (B型H系/"B Gata H Kei"), where the eponymous, lustful Yamada becomes obsessed with the idea of losing her virginity to this average-looking guy in class but keeps screwing things up royally. 🤣 https://t.co/bF9WAx8Sbt
Reed Richards once decided that brainwashing defeated Skrulls into thinking they were cows - and everything that came with it, such breeding with other cows and being turned into hamburger meat - was a good idea. I don't WANT this mofo's help in "solving" the world's problems. 🤪 https://t.co/NYLpa9dHBf
This issue has actually been raised a few times over the years. I can't provide an explanation for the Marvel Universe, but, in the DC Universe, the consensus seems to be that humanity must be allowed to pursue its own destiny and that Superman and co. just serve as backup. https://t.co/6hYwBtvLsS
Yeah, no. Both the original "Birdie the Mighty" OVA and "The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service" brought up examples of Japan unethical biological weapon and human experimentation. The former used the fictional Unit 942 while the latter mentioned Unit 731 by name. https://t.co/cQIOEj9vFA
The big problem with taking this panel at face value is that the alleged Japanese war crime denier is a journalist and this series portrays the media as liars determined to make the JSDF look bad, so it's hard to tell if this statement reflects the author's personal beliefs. 2/2
"GATE - Thus the JSDF Fought There!" is a nationalistic series where Japanese Special Forces can effortlessly take out Russian AND U.S. ones with zero deaths and makes a lot of political and social criticism (such as how manipulative politicians and journalists are). 2/4
The character portraits from Tapper's as seen in the original "Wreck-It Ralph". 🙂
@ChadPrim3 @GrtCdnNeckbeard @mask_bastard You want to play that game, though? Fine. We know that he gave Peter Parker his initial break as a photographer because he found out his Uncle Ben died and he made a memorable speech on journalistic ethics (that he, I should note, failed to adhere to when came to Spider-Man). 1/2
J.Jonah Jameson funded the creation of the Spider-Slayer robots and the Scorpion, has admitted to having an irrational vendetta against Spider-Man, and essentially lost the libel case against him and the Daily Bugle. I understand the man just fine. Do you, you friggin' assclown? https://t.co/3d7xmAo869
