And be it shounen or josei, one thing that you should know about this manga is, the mangaka actually does a research on this manga. It might tickle you a bit to, maybe, kickstart something, but of course you need to read more than this manga to understand overclocking.

With the common theme of competition and/or sports, you usually expect something exaggerated from a shounen manga. In that aspect, this manga is quite down to earth. You won't see dragon aura soaring to the sky from the computer. But you can see an excessive computer fan blowing.
