54. Tea Prince - Nanpei Yamada. About high school Tea Club members and their tea princes ( more like fairies ) granting their wishes. One of my favorite classic shojo comic 🥰 I love Assam ... I need to catch up on their new squeal “Tea Prince of Cherry Blossoms”~ 🏃‍♂️💨

53. The vacation in love- Sumako Kari. She is just so underrated !Luckily translations of her yaoi comics are out but her works are way more than that. I love her crispy dry pen touch and unique tempo. Her recent series “To die tomorrow” (story of women in 40s) keeps getting🏆s.

52. Akebi chan’s Sailor Uniform - Hiro. Just LOOK at these outstanding drawing. Author barely uses halftone and draws everything black and white. His drawing dedication for sailor uniform are just phenomenal. The story (hs girls’s life) is cute too but it’s more like a art book.

51. Kouya’s Love - Mako Takahashi. Step-sibling love, but not just that. This cute drawing unexpectedly cuts your emotion harsh. I also love her “Youth Reading Club” 👭×📚series and same with above, written by my favorite writer Kazuki Sakuraba ( who wrote GOSICK mystery series).

50. Classmates - Asumiko Nakamura. Classic yaoi series. This beautiful stories continues to “Graduate”, “Sora to Hara”, “O.B.”, then to recent “Blanc”. Her line works are just out of this world !🤯😳 I also love her “All about J” 🏳️‍🌈 series and “Chicken Club” ← graphic warning 🙈

49. Tomo chan is a girl ! - Fumita Yanagida. Slow burn 4 panel romantic comedy with a girl and her childhood crush who only sees her as buddy. I’m so tantalized every time I read it 😩 but it it’s so cute 🥰 I wish this gets animated ...

48. Ane no Kekkon ( Old sister’s marriage ) - Keiko Nishi. Women in her close 40s gave up on love and marriage, goes back to her hometown where she meets her old classmate. Mature romance. I just love her beautiful flow of the panels. I also love her “Lifetime of a Man” series 🌸

47. Scum’s Wish - Mengo Yokoyari. About teenagers adolescences and finding their true themselves. I just love her word choices. I like her “Retort Pouch!” series too. Little rated 🔞 Her recent series “Oshi no Ko” collabs with Akasaka Sensei who did Kaguya sama - Love is War 👀

46. Crest of the Royal Family-Chieko Hosokawa. Long run series that is still on going since 1976. American teenager leaps time to Ancient Egypt where see meets Pharaoh Memphis. With her ability to tell the future, she becomes a major player in ancient history. History drama 🇪🇬🇺🇸
