Undead Ch 63: Sometimes I have to retool a sentence to fit in the title drop into the right(ish) bubble. I constructed a sentence around the title in order to get it in the last panel. It may have ultimately flipped bubbles (2nd instead of 1st,) but I think it works well.

Undead Unluck Ch. 47 You might've noticed the magazine was in English. For Undead, the rule is that there are minimal redraws bc of the whole language unification aspect, but this week's flashback had a few spots where it was unavoidable. Hopefully it didn't break immersion 🙇‍♂️

Undead Unluck Ch. 86: Forgot to mention this the day of, but Spring's fans have two sayings on them 春秋筆法 (shunjuu hippo) and 月旦春秋 (gettan shunjuu.) These both use 春秋 which comes from the Spring-Autumn period (春秋時代) the 1st half of the Eastern Zhou period, (1/6)

For this panel in Undead Unluck Ch 32, I must have spent at least an hour trying to get these splits right. I also made sure that "influential" was the biggest word here, which can sit on its own line. The only word that needs a hyphen is "self-worth" which it has by default.

MamaYuyu 20: This dumb joke the mascot makes took me so long. He says "交通の便も僕の便もとっても快調さ!!" (Koutsuu no ben mo boku no ben mo tottemo kaichou sa!!/"Public transit and my poop are both really smooth!!) with 便 being the common link (means service but also dung.)

Undead Unluck 141: I forgot to include this note last week, so forgive me. "Shinora" (シノラー) fashion innovated by pop singer Tomoe Shinohara back in the mid-90s. Sparked a lot of Harajuku fashion and "that" 90s look. You know the one.

Kaiju No. 8 Chapter 99: I just liked my TL for this line. The phrase 指をくわえる (present-perfect imperative form 咥えてろ) basically means "to keep a finger in your mouth." This invokes an image of someone enviously looking on while biting/sucking on their fingers.

The names descending have about 1~2 readable radicals (部首.) Luckily Japanese only has so many combinations of kanji for (standard) names so it was a process of elimination. For the single kanji on the right, I just used my discretion for common last names. #KaijuNo8 #怪獣8号 https://t.co/R1d9fTYhcD

Hoshina has fairly standard Kansai-ben usage. Instead of だ he uses や and instead of してる, he uses しとる, ちゃう instead of じゃない/違う. However, he doesn't go full Dinosaur Ryuzaki/Sendo by using ワイ as his first-person pronoun, opting for 僕. Standard stuff. (2/6)
