Undead 197: Haruka calls her grandfather じじ様 (jiji-sama) which is a nonstandard way of addressing one's grandfather that I tried (emphasis on tried) to emulate in English. (With "sama," it would usually be お祖父様/ojii-sama.)

Okay, one MORE thing. Fuuko uses her Bad Bullet bandoleers as makeshift Kung Fu training rings commonly used in 洪拳 (Hung Gar.) These are used for strength and physical conditioning and have appeared in a lot of media.

Undead Unluck Ch 46. I really wanted "soul" to be in the last bubble like in the original, so I toiled to rewrite the sentences so that they had a natural flow leading up to it. As I wrote and read it aloud, I think it hit the right gravitas, so I hope it did for the readers too.

Hoshina's sixth technique might join the ranks of the Reacoome Ultra Fighting Miracle Bomber and Juda's Nanto Kokaku-ken Kesshoshi in the pantheon of "attacks we may never see in the manga itself" lol.

Each card in the series has been painstakingly replaced along with the usual full retouch on SFX. I personally spot checked every card myself for period accuracy to ensure the right card was slotted in. Intense work all around but the end result looks fantastic!

Kaiju No. 8 Ch 18 Replicating the energy of a page is important. Kafka is beside himself, vivid brush strokes rise from him like flames, steam billows from his misshapen mouth, inciting terror. So, "You've repeatedly shot these things into their bodies?" is just... too meh, lol.

I never really explained the way I phrased Fuuko's unluck before, but essentially I use "stroke of unluck" wherever "unluck" by itself would look awkward, since "unluck" is a rather uncommon English word. (1/3) #UndeadUnluck #アンデラ
