怪獣8号24話、英語版では最後のフキダシに「リーダー」を入れて原作と同じようなペースでリーダーの怪獣のことを知ってもらうようにしておいたけど、直訳だと主語である「リーダー」は文の頭の辺りに置いてしまうせいで、ここで足りない情報を単語で補ったり色んな事を考えたり、アレンジしました。

Lastly, there's the key piece of evidence in this chapter, the receipt Tagame forged. This was kind of agonizing because while ナイフ and サイフ are one -line- apart. English doesn't work like that. In the end, I went with "pocketbook" and "pocket blade." (9/12)

I translated the phrase fairly literally (the meaning is easy to pick up) and gave editorial a list of alternatives. It almost went live with "fire with fire" but ended up being changed back to "poison with poison." (7/12)

Speaking of euphemisms, one that's featured halfway through this chapter is 毒を以て毒を制す ("conquer poison with poison") It's an expression that means beating one bad thing with another similar to "fight fire with fire" or "meet evil with evil." (6/12)

Aioi's 白馬の犯人 or "culprit on a white horse" became "blight in shining armor." As for why, this is based off of 白馬の騎士 (knight on a white horse) or in English: "knight in shining armor." People seemed to like this choice a lot and I thank you all for that. (4/12)
