I tried a number of different solutions, but "Till I drop dead" seemed to work the best in both scenarios as a lead-in and a standalone AND dialogue that continues off the convo between Kaede and Fuuko on p12.

J-FRIENDS was a special J-pop unit formed to raise money for schools affected by the Great Hanshin Earthquake of 95. It composed of popular Johnny's groups such as TOKIO, V6, and KinKi Kids.

B'z is a hit J-Rock band with classics like Love Phantom, Ultra Soul, Samayoeru Aoi Dangan, and many others. Takeshi Kaneshiro and Fukakyon (Kyoko Fukad) were the stars of the drama Kamisama Mou Sukoshi Dake, which is being referenced here.

Also, because the word "neutralization" is a very "modern military" term, I decided to use the word "slayers" for 討伐隊 (toubatsutai) here.

Speaking of euphemisms, one that's featured halfway through this chapter is 毒を以て毒を制す ("conquer poison with poison") It's an expression that means beating one bad thing with another similar to "fight fire with fire" or "meet evil with evil." (6/12)

Also, before the series started, I went through a bevy of different revisions for 解決屋事務所. The one before "Troubleshooter" was "Fixer" ("Gokurakugaki Fixer Agency.") However, Tao explains themselves with katakana トラブルシューター/troubleshooters so that settled that.

This line originally refers to Monika's sentence ender 語尾/gobi: なのよ (nanoyo.) We dropped it bc there was no graceful way to incorporate it in EN, so I tweaked this line to point out her on-again off-again 3rd person speech (which is present in the original too.) (4/4)
