is subtly and subliminally implied, the base quote in EN is a much more direct piece of foreshadowing (?) in this case. This might've been a case of sensei knowing the EN, using the JP TL, and leaving it to readers to realize that it's foreshadowing for the events to come.
I'm so glad to have met @kyla_aiko through Super Smartphone because I got to see her develop as a letterer on the fly in the manga we've worked on, like Super Smartphone and Gokurakugai. An incredibly kind person, awesome, and always brightens my day.

This way Corleo's awkward katakana ハイ can now be "Yes, ma'am," which is the translation I was going to go with anyway, but now it has synergy with Minerva's line. By course correcting this one line, the entire page retains flow and deals with an unfamiliar cultural concept.
